This area is used to update the below listed blocking databases. Updates to each database are released when changes have been made to data contained in them. It is always best to have the most recent updates for each database installed.
Email notifications are sent out each time a database is updated, along with download instructions.
If you have a Click Tracker Plus subscription, these updates are free. A subscription includes unlimited free database updates.
If you do not have a subscription, you can purchase database updates when you want to update them from the website.
The following blocking databases can be updated here:
- Search Engine Crawlers
- Bot Signatures
- Amazon AWS IP Addresses
To update a blocking database, use the Update Databases From a File section of the page if you do not have a subscription.
To update manually you need to download the files first to your local computer.
If you have an active subscription, use the Update All Databases (Subscription Required) section of the page.
The update by subscription method does not require any downloads. You simply click the button and everything is automatic.
