To edit an existing click tracker, follow these steps.
Click on “Click Trackers” in the navigation menu This will bring you to click tracker management area.
If the click tracker you would like to edit has been archived, click on the “Archived Click Trackers” button near the top of the page. If the click tracker is currently active, skip this step.
Scroll down the page to the section named “Active Click Trackers” or “Archived Click Trackers.”
Locate the click tracker you would like to edit and click on the click trackers description. This will bring you to the edit click tracker page.
Please note that not all fields are required. Just edit or fill in the fields that you need, for the click tracker to perform in the manner you desire.
Here is a list of the available fields and their uses when editing an existing click tracker.
Click Tracker Basic Information
Tracker Description:
Enter a description for this click tracker. The description is used to help you identify this particular click tracker in lists that contain multiple click trackers. This description is also displayed on the client stats page.
Tracker Group (optional):
You can optionally assign this click tracker to a group. You can type in a new group name or select an existing group by typing the first few letters of a group and then selecting it from the dropdown list that appears. Some click tracker listings allow you to search and sort by group.
Destination URL:
Enter the destination URL for this click tracker. This is the URL all traffic will be sent to that passes any of the optional settings for this click tracker. Make sure you enter the full URL including the leading http:// or https://.
Test Destination URL:
Checking this box will test the URL to see if it is valid and reachable when you save the new click tracker. You can override this test by leaving the checkbox un-checked.
Notes (optional):
You can keep any notes about this click tracker you want in this field. It is for your personal use and is only displayed to you. It does not show on the client stats page.
Click on the “Advanced Settings” button below the basic click tracker fields to display the available advanced click tracker settings.
Click Tracker Advanced URL Settings
Secondary URL (optional):
If you enter a secondary URL, the following clicks will be sent to it.
If you are using “Limit to Countries”, all clicks received from any country not in this list will be sent to the secondary URL.
If you have set a “Maximum Unique Clicks to Send” value, all clicks over this number will be sent to the secondary URL.
The secondary URL must start with either http:// or https://.
Mobile URL (optional):
Enter a URL in this field if you want all mobile traffic to be sent to a different URL than the destination URL. This field must start with http:// or https://.
iOS URL (optional):
Enter a URL in this field if you want all iOS traffic to be sent to a different URL than the destination URL. This field must start with http:// or https://.
Repeat Visitor URL (optional):
Entering a URL in this field will cause all traffic from repeat visitors to be sent to it instead of the destination URL. This field must start with http:// or https://.
Blocked Clicks URL (optional):
If you would like all clicks that have been blocked by one of the blocking settings to be sent to a specific URL, enter it in this field. This field must start with http:// or https://.
Please note that blocked clicks are processed before any of the other settings.
Click Tracker Advanced GEO Targeting Settings
Limit to Countries (optional):
If you would like to send only traffic from specific countries to the destination URL of this click tracker, enter the country codes separated by a comma in this field. Do not enter any spaces. For example, if you want to send traffic to the US, Canada and Australia only you would enter the following in this field.
US,CA,AU
For a list of supported country codes, see the resources section of this manual.
If you are using enhanced selection boxes, simply select the countries from the dropdown list. To remove a country, click on the x by the country name.
Block These Countries (optional):
If you would like to block traffic from specific countries to the destination URL of this click tracker, enter the country codes separated by a comma in this field. Do not enter any spaces. For example, if you want to block traffic to the US, Canada and Australia you would enter the following in this field.
US,CA,AU

If you are using enhanced selection boxes, simply select the countries from the dropdown list. To remove a country, click on the x by the country name.
Click Tracker Advanced Blocking Settings
Block All Anonymous Proxies:
To block clicks from anonymous proxies, set this field to “Yes”. Otherwise set it to “No”.
Block All Amazon AWS IP Addresses:
To block clicks from Amazon AWS IP’s, set this field to “Yes”. Otherwise set it to “No”.
Block All Search Engine Crawlers:
To block clicks from search engine crawlers, set this field to “Yes”. Otherwise set it to “No”.
Use Aggressive Bot Blocking:
To block clicks from bots, set this field to “Yes”. Otherwise set it to “No”. Make sure you click the red button that says “Click Here Before Activating” and make sure you fully understand what you are doing before turning on aggressive bot blocking.
Click Tracker Other Advanced Settings
Click Tracker Code (optional):
If you want to define a specific code to use for this click tracker, enter it in this field. It must only contain letters, numbers or dashes. Leave this field blank to have an auto generated code created for you when the click tracker is saved.
NOTE: If you change the click tracker code, you will need to edit all of your links to use the new code. Current links using the old code will no longer function.
Click Tracker Status:
This field determines if this click tracker appears in the main click tracker list or the archived click tracker list. You can move a click tracker back and forth between these two lists. You can set this field to either Active or Archived.
Maximum Unique Clicks to Send (optional):
Enter the maximum number of clicks you want to send to the destination URL. All clicks over this number will be sent to the secondary URL. Leave this field blank, or enter 0 if you want to send all clicks to the destination URL regardless of the number sent. This field must contain a number between 0 and 999999999 or be left blank.
Traffic Cost (optional):
If you would like to track the cost of clicks, enter the dollar amount of the cost in this field. This field work with the “Traffic Cost Type” field.
Traffic Cost Type (optional):
If you entered a dollar value in the “Traffic Cost” field, select the cost type in this field. The available options are:
Total – Total amount paid for all traffic.
CPC – Cost per click.
CPA – Cost per action.
CPS – Cost per sale.
Client Stats Password (optional):
If you plan on providing partners and clients access to view only stats, enter the desired password in this field. Leaving it blank will disable read only stats for this click tracker.
To locate the client stats URL, perform the following.
Locate the new click tracker in the list of click trackers.
Click on the hamburger menu to the far right of the table for the desired click tracker. This will open a menu where you can copy the client stats link to the clipboard or visit the click trackers client stats link. These options will not display if you leave the client stats password field blank.
Treat Tablets as:
You can set how tablets are treated with this setting. If you want them to be treated as computers, select computer. If you want them treated as mobile devices, select mobile.
To save your changes and update the click tracker, click on the “Update” button.
