Here is the process a click rotator performs when a visitor is sent to the click rotators link.
- The click rotator records information about the visitor. This information includes, IP address, country of origin, device type, browser information and more.
- The data on the visitor that was collected is analyzed and checked against the rotators settings and the links in the rotators individual accept and reject settings.
- If a visitor meets the acceptance criteria he is sent to the destination URL of the next link in line to receive a visitor. If he does not meet the acceptance or meets the rejection settings of all links in the rotator, he is sent to the rotators default URL.
- If the maximum number of clicks setting has been reached for a particular link in a rotator, that link will be skipped in the rotation.
