Adding Basic Links to a Click Rotator

This section covers how to add basic links to a new or existing click rotator. You can add as few or as many links as you want to a click rotator.

To add a basic link to a click rotator, follow these steps.

First, click on “Click Rotators” in the navigation menu This will bring you to click rotator management area.

Now, Scroll down the page to the section labeled “Active Click Rotators.”

Locate the click rotator that you would like to add links to.

You can use the search box to locate a specific click rotator or group of click rotators. You can also sort on each column by clicking on the header cell of the column. You can reverse the order by clicking on the header cell a second time.

Once you have located the desired click rotator, click on the link in the column named “URLs” for that click rotator. This will bring you to the manage links area for the click rotator.

Next, click on the “Add New Link” button near the top of the page. This will open up an area where you can add a new basic link to the selected click rotator.

Please note that not all fields are required. Just fill in the fields that you need, for the basic click rotator link to perform in the manner you desire.

Here is a list of the available fields and their uses when creating adding a new basic click rotator link.

Click Rotator Link Basic Information

Link Description:
Enter a description for this link. The description is used to help you identify this particular link in lists that contain multiple click rotator links. This description is also displayed on the client stats page.

Destination URL:
Enter the destination URL for this rotator link. This is the URL all traffic will be sent to when the rotator selects to send a click to this click rotator link. Make sure you enter the full URL including the leading http:// or https://.

Test Destination URL (optional):
Checking this box will test the URL to see if it is valid and reachable when you save the new click rotator link. You can override this test by leaving the checkbox un-checked.

Total Unique Clicks To Send:
Enter the number of unique clicks you want to send to this link. After this number of clicks has been sent, no further clicks will be sent to this link. If you leave this field blank or enter 0, NO clicks will be sent to this link.

Notes (optional):
You can enter any notes you want to keep on this link in this field.

Once you have filled out the desired fields, don’t forget to click on the “Save” button to add the new link to the click rotator.
